Mass Shooting at Stockton Banquet Hall Leaves Four Dead, Ten Wounded
STOCKTON, Calif. — November 30, 2025 — Four people were killed and 10 others wounded in a mass shooting at a family gathering inside a banquet hall in Stockton, California, on Saturday evening, officials said.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office responded shortly before 6 p.m. to reports of gunfire near the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue. Authorities confirmed that both children and adults were among those shot. Early indications suggest the incident may have been targeted, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office.
The suspect remains at large, prompting an intensive manhunt. San Joaquin County District Attorney Ron Freitas stated that law enforcement is doing everything possible to bring the responsible individual to justice. Detectives continue to investigate the motive behind the shooting.
