27 December 2025 U.S. News

GOLDEN BEACH, Fla. — In an unusual Christmas night incident, a 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly breaking into two multimillion-dollar homes in the exclusive Golden Beach community. Vladimir Demidovich, of Hallandale Beach, was found naked and hiding in the garage of a $12 million residence after reportedly consuming alcoholic beverages inside the properties.

According to the Golden Beach Police Department, officers responded shortly before 9:45 p.m. on December 25 to a report of a “naked white male” trespassing at a home on the 100 block of Ocean Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered Demidovich inside the garage of the first home, confirming he was unclothed. He told authorities that his clothes were located at a nearby residence.

Further investigation revealed that the second home, where Demidovich’s clothing was found, is valued at over $37 million, according to Miami-Dade County property records. Police noted that the house had been disturbed, with evidence of beverages consumed and clothing scattered on the second floor.

Demidovich is accused of unlawfully entering both homes without permission, consuming drinks, and demonstrating intent to commit theft. He faces felony charges including burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and criminal mischief, as outlined in Miami-Dade court records. Notably, he was out on felony bond from a previous criminal mischief case dating back to June.

The arrest highlights ongoing concerns about property crimes in affluent South Florida neighborhoods. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement continues to monitor such incidents closely, especially during holiday seasons when homes may be unoccupied.

Demidovich was taken into custody and booked into the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department. Authorities have not released further details regarding his motives or whether additional charges may be forthcoming.

Residents of Golden Beach, known for its multimillion-dollar oceanfront estates, expressed shock at the brazen nature of the break-ins on a night typically reserved for celebration and family gatherings. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of vigilance and security even in the most exclusive communities.
