Forestry Officials Rescue Emu Lost in Polish Woods After Fireworks Scare

Forestry officials launched a search the following day, coordinating efforts to locate and safely capture the emu. After spending a cold and restless night in the wild, Fabiś was found tired and hungry but calm enough to be approached by the rescuers. The officials described the bird as “calm and trusting” once contact was made, allowing them to safely return him to his owner.
