Christopher and Raquelle Judge pleaded guilty to federal charges after prosecutors revealed that the pair used their business, Judge DFW LLC, as a façade to lure customers through social media platforms, falsely presenting Christopher as a licensed architect and expert in home design.
Between August 2020 and January 2023, the Judges marketed themselves as a one-stop shop for custom architecture, interior design, and construction, capitalizing on the popularity of home renovation culture and social media influencers. Their business was promoted heavily online, drawing in clients across six counties who believed they were hiring reputable professionals to transform their homes.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, the couple collected millions of dollars from victims but failed to deliver on their promises, leaving many homeowners with incomplete or substandard work. The scheme unraveled after multiple complaints and investigations exposed the fraudulent nature of Judge DFW LLC’s operations.
