BURNET, Texas — Jordan Shipley, a former standout receiver for the University of Texas Longhorns and a former NFL player, was hospitalized in critical but stable condition after sustaining severe burns in a ranching accident near his hometown of Burnet. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon when the machinery Shipley was operating caught fire, according to a statement released by his family through the university.
