French Daredevil Sets Second Guinness World Record for Bungee Jumping
KILLIECRANKIE, Scotland — December 2, 2025 — French daredevil François-Marie Dibon has earned his second Guinness World Record in bungee jumping by completing jumps at 16 different commercial bungee sites over an eight-year period, officials said.
Dibon previously set a record by completing 765 bungee jumps in a single day at Highland Fling Bungee in Killiecrankie, Scotland, achieving a rate of more than one jump every two minutes.
His latest record recognizes the most commercial bungee jumping locations visited. The sites span multiple countries, including Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Mexico, Nepal, Norway, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Zambia.
The specific locations are Rupert Hirner Bungy Jumping in Austria; Great Canadian Bungee and Whistler Bungee in Canada; Bungy Jump Copenhagen in Denmark; Sky Breakers in Finland; Bungy Teques, IBO Adventures, and Wild Canyon in Mexico; The Last Resort in Nepal; Telemark Opplevelser in Norway; Bloukrans Bungy in South Africa; Bungy STHLM in Sweden; 007 Bungy Verzasca in Switzerland; Highland Fling Bungee and U.K. Bungee Club in Britain; and Shearwater Bungee in Zambia.
Dibon said his bungee jumping activities also supported charitable efforts, raising funds for the Catholic charity group Caritas. He expressed a desire to combine his passion for the sport with philanthropy, stating his motto as “Give as much as I jump,” according to Guinness World Records.
The accomplishment highlights Dibon’s dedication to bungee jumping and his commitment to using the sport to benefit charitable causes.
