House Democrats Release New Photos and Videos of Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Island

WASHINGTON — Democrats from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform announced Wednesday that they have obtained and released never-before-seen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The materials provide a detailed look inside the compound on Little Saint James island, including various rooms within the buildings, according to officials.

The release follows a request from the Oversight Committee to the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice for additional information to support the committee’s ongoing investigation into Epstein’s criminal activities. The committee also received records from financial institutions J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank, which are under review and expected to be made public in the coming days.

In a statement posted on social media, House Oversight Democrats said, “See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors.” Ranking Member Robert Garcia described the new images as “a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island.”

The release of these materials comes after President Donald Trump signed legislation in November authorizing the Justice Department to disclose files related to Epstein, the late financier and convicted sex offender. The Epstein Files Transparency Act mandates the release of all unclassified records and investigative materials concerning Epstein, his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, and individuals referenced in previous legal cases. It also covers details about trafficking allegations, internal Justice Department communications, and the investigation into Epstein’s death.

However, the Justice Department may withhold or redact files containing victims’ names, child sex abuse materials, classified information, or content that could jeopardize active investigations.

The House Oversight Committee’s release of these images and videos aims to shed light on Epstein’s activities and support efforts to hold accountable those involved. The committee’s investigation remains ongoing, with further disclosures anticipated as additional documents are reviewed.
