The series, adapted from Mona Kasten’s book “Save Me,” centers on Ruby Bell (played by Herbig-Matten), a scholarship student at the prestigious Maxton Hall school who aspires to attend Oxford University. Her plans become complicated as she develops feelings for James Beaufort (played by Hardung), a wealthy and somewhat arrogant heir and fellow student.

“Maxton Hall” has achieved notable success as the most successful non-American Prime Video TV show to date. To celebrate the release of its second season, Hardung and Herbig-Matten took part in a lighthearted costar test designed to reveal how well they know each other beyond their on-screen roles. The test included questions about personal details such as birthdays, which both actors answered correctly, including the exact years. They also attempted to identify each other’s eye colors without looking, a topic that has been previously discussed between them.
