Search Underway for Texas Woman Missing Since Christmas Eve Morning
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Authorities and community members are urgently searching for Camila Mendoza Olmos, a 19-year-old woman who vanished outside her home on Christmas Eve morning. According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Mendoza Olmos was last seen around 6:58 a.m. on December 24, 2025, leaving her residence in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring in northwest San Antonio. She reportedly left without her phone or vehicle, sparking immediate concern from her family.
Camila’s mother, Rosario Olmos, told local news outlet KSAT that her daughter normally takes a morning walk, but when she did not return within a reasonable time, she grew worried. “I called her cell phone, but the cell phone was there on the bed and it was turned off,” Rosario said. She added that she initially expected to find Camila walking nearby, as had happened before, but when that did not happen, she alerted authorities.
Video footage reviewed by deputies shows an individual believed to be Camila searching inside her vehicle for an unidentified item shortly before she left the home on foot. Her car remained parked at the residence, and the only items known to be with her are her car key and possibly her driver’s license. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has described her as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 110 pounds, last seen wearing a baby blue and black hoodie, baby blue pajama bottoms, and white shoes.
Since her disappearance, more than 100 volunteers, including family members, have joined the search efforts in the area. Camila’s father, Alfonso Mendoza, expressed the emotional toll of the ordeal, telling KSAT, “It’s been real hard.” Authorities continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.
