Three Bulls Escape for Nighttime Walk in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — November 28, 2025 — Authorities in San Antonio responded to an unusual situation when three bulls escaped from a property and took a nighttime stroll through the city, officials said.
According to the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services (ACS), the incident began when one bull escaped from its owner’s property. The owner attempted to capture the animal but inadvertently left a gate open, allowing two additional bulls to join the escape.
An ACS officer arrived on the scene and observed the three bulls moving along the road. Two of the animals were returned to the property, but the third remained across the street, refusing to approach.
The property owner decided to wait until daylight to attempt to coax the remaining bull back, hoping to reach a “mooo-tual understanding” after the animal had time to settle, ACS said in a social media post.
The agency described the event with lighthearted language, referring to the bulls as a “bovine brigade” and the escape as a “moonlight stroll.”
No injuries or damages were reported during the incident, and officials managed the situation without further complications.
