U.S. Deploys F-22 Raptors to Israel Amid Rising Iran Tensions
TEL AVIV, Israel — In a significant escalation of military posture in the Middle East, the United States has deployed eleven F-22 Raptor stealth fighters to Israel’s Ovda Air Base, marking the first operational combat deployment of American aircraft on Israeli soil. According to defense analysts, the F-22’s stealth technology and advanced sensors enable it to penetrate sophisticated Iranian air defenses, putting “almost any target in Iran at risk.” This deployment coincides with a broader U.S. military buildup in the region, reflecting Washington’s intent to deter potential Iranian aggression and to prepare for contingencies should diplomatic efforts fail.
